Natural and Recycled Furniture

When buying new furniture, you can still help the environment.

Used furniture is a good place to start. By purchasing pieces that already exist, you cut down on more furniture having to be made. Who knew that antiquing could be so good for the earth?

Another option is to look into new furniture made from recycled material. Manufacturers are now able to take used wood, metal and other materials to make completely new pieces.

If you are going to buy new furniture, make sure itís made of natural products, like wood. Cutting down on the plastic and synthetic materials saves on oil and other fuels.
