Solar Hot Water System

Solar water heaters can be an energy saving way to generate hot water for your home. They can be used in any climate, and the only fuel they need is sunshine.

Solar water heating systems usually cost more to purchase and install than conventional water heating systems. However, a solar water heater can usually save you money in the long run.

On average, if you install a solar water heater, your water heating bills should drop 50-80%, depending on the amount of water you use and the cost of fuel in your area. Also, because the sun is free, you’re protected from future fuel shortages and price hikes.

If you’re building a new home or refinancing, the economics are even more attractive. You can deduct solar systems from your taxes, and usually the solar investment is profitable immediately.
